SAIGON SHIPBUILDING AND MARINE INDUSTRY COMPANY (SHIPMARIN) DELIVERED THE YACHT VIKING TONLE.
In August 2025, Saigon Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Company (Shipmarin), a member unit of SBIC Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, delivered the Viking Tonle Yacht.
The Viking Tonle is a river cruise ship owned by Viking River Cruises. It is specially designed to navigate the Mekong River, combining Viking's signature Scandinavian design with casual elegance. The ship can accommodate 80 guests with 40 staff and 06 crew members and features many amenities such as outdoor decks, hotel-style beds, light-filled public areas with panoramic views, and other amenities such as a spa, fitness center, library, and onboard shops. The Viking Tonle is often used on Mekong River exploration itineraries.
The ship features Viking's signature Scandinavian design, with minimalist elegance and an emphasis on natural light. Rooms feature hotel-style beds and balconies or French terraces, spacious, airy public areas with panoramic views, a spa and fitness centre, a library and onboard shops, a swimming pool and an outdoor Sky Bar on the top deck.
